This year we have all experienced some level of difficulty due to the COVID-19 virus in our communities. While we have always made cleanliness and infection control a top priority in our office, we have worked to reevaluate and improve standards to give our patients the confidence in coming to our office.
To provide peace of mind, know that our office follows the infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
We actively follow these agencies to stay up to date on any new guidelines to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.
Taking one step further, we have acquired and installed air filtration systems with HEPA filtration to ensure your visit is as safe and comfortable as possible.

Other steps we have taken include:
- Our office will communicate with you before your appointment and again at our office to ask basic screening questions.
- Upon your arrival you will be asked to use hand sanitizer that we have provided in the reception area and throughout the office.
- We have removed difficult and hard to clean items from our waiting area, including toys and magazines.
- Appointments are scheduled a bit differently to allow for social distancing. There is a greater time between appointments and fewer people in the waiting area at any one time.
If at any time you have concerns about your upcoming appointment, reach out to our staff. Know that we are here to provide you with the safest environment while maintaining your dental healthcare throughout this difficult time.
